How to conduct a basic search on the Health Information ?

Tips
  • For better results:
    Try entering more words. Example: Blood Pressure instead of Pressure.

  • For searches on phrases:
    To search on an exact phrase, select the option "With the Exact Phrase" located below the search textbox.

  • Note that common (or “noise” words) will be deleted from your query: Search deletes a number of words from many queries because they are so common that they can significantly slow down searches without increasing the relevancy of results.

    Examples of "noise" words :
    a, about, an, and, are, as, at, be, by, for, from, how, in, is, it, of, on, or, that, the, this, to, was, what, when, where, which, who, will, and with.

    If you wish to include these words in the searcth, select the option "With the Exact Phrase" located below the search textbox.
